TextOut allows Program Admins and Moderators to leave feedback to Texters. Monitoring newer texters and offering feedback improves Texters' skills and builds teamwork, ensures optimal data collection, and can catch bad actors.

• Improve Texters' Skills and Build Teamwork!

Providing feedback to texters is a great way to improve their engagement skills as they give their time to your cause. Recruiting a group of volunteer leaders to do quality control and provide tips and tricks can be a powerful way to strengthen your organization.

• Ensure Data Collection

TextOut is designed for data collection. No matter what kind of information you’re giving to contacts with your messages, you are also getting information back from them. You should regularly review your texters' work and make sure they are using your Recommended Replies that align with Data Items and capturing any necessary additional data in the free form data lines.

• Catch Bad Actors

Most volunteers will engage with voters in a respectful way. Occasionally you will run into a volunteer who either has bad intentions or just doesn’t 'get it.' Reviewing texts either in real-time or after the fact via the Users screen allows you to catch this behavior.
