How do I stop a program so texters cannot send any more texts?
To turn off all Texting - all text requests and all outgoing messages - in a Program during regular hours, a Program Admin should remove all Texters from the Program’s Roles page.
When the Program is ready to allow outbound messaging again, just add the Texters back to the Program.
All outbound messaging is always prevented during "Quiet Hours,” those hours outside of the daily start and end times set in the Program Details.
How to remove all Texters from a Program
- Click the "Administration" button at the top
- Click "Programs" from the menu
- Click the pencil under "Actions" next to the program you want to stop
- Click to the “Roles” tab to view the chosen Roles.
- Remove all Texters from the Program by clicking on the Trash Can icon next to each group or User's name.
