How Do I Opt Out Someone Without Sending A Reply (or add a data item without sending a reply)?
To Opt Out a contact or add additional data without sending a reply. The example will be for "Opt-Out" but you can do the same for any data item!
- First you need to set up "Survey Questions" to collect this data
- Administration > Workspace Settings > Survey Questions > Add Survey Question > Name "Opt Out without Reply" > "Single Answer" > Select "Opt Out" > Click "Save"
- If your "Survey Questions" are already set up, Click the "Administration" button at the top
- Click "Programs"
- Click the pencil next to the program you want to add the survey question to
- Click "Survey Questions" at the top
- Click "Add Survey Question"
- Search and Select from the "Question" dropdown you want to add
- Click "Ok"
- To apply this to a contact, in the texting program click on the conversation
- Click "Survey Questions"
- Select "Opt Out", this will add the data item without sending a reply
