Provider Rate Changes and Carrier Fees

Provider Rate Changes

TextOut Service Fees are for the duration of the Service Term.  Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, if any of the Company’s telecommunication providers supporting the service increases the rates charged to the Company during the Service Term (a “Provider Rate Change”), Company will have the right to, upon prompt written notice to Customer of such a Provider Rate Change, increase the Service Fees charged to Customer to account for the increased charges (a “Fee Increase”).

Carrier Fees (Network Access Fees - NAF)

Some carriers apply a delivery surcharge per message segment. These carrier-associated fees are “Carrier Fees.” 

Carrier Fees, as of February 15, 2022:

  • Verizon: per-segment pass-through charge of $0.0025 for all outbound SMS message segments delivered to Verizon customers.
  • US Cellular: per-segment pass-through charge of $0.005 for all outbound SMS message segments delivered to US Cellular customers.
  • AT&T: per-segment pass-through charge of $0.002 - $0.004 for all outbound SMS message segments delivered to AT&T customers. (Starting May 1, 2021)
  • T-Mobile: per-segment pass-through charge of $0.003/segment for outbound or inbound SMS message segments delivered to T-Mobile customers. (Starting June 1, 2021)
